Find a doctor for Orbera™ (Intragastric Balloon System)
Note: Names and details are provided for your information only. This list was created to support persons who want to learn more about any of the (a) endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), (b) intragastric balloon, and/or (c) transoral outlet reduction (ResTORe) procedures by helping connect them to doctors who currently have demonstrated qualifications and training on OverStitch™ and/or Orbera™ devices and for use in bariatric procedures.
To be included in the list, the physician must have submitted a registration form certifying that they have completed Boston Scientific’s mandatory training course, and have performed the minimum number of procedures as follows:
- ESG: The physician must have used the OverStitch device during the 12 months immediately preceding submission of the registration form for at least 10 ESG and/or TORe procedures in any mix; provided however there must at least one ESG procedure
- TORe: The physician must have used OverStitch during the 12 months immediately preceding submission of the registration form for at least 10 ESG and/or TORe procedures in any mix; provided however there must at least one TORe procedure;
- Intragastric Balloon: The physician must have conducted at least one procedure using the Orbera balloon.
- Recent Trainee: For each of ESG, TORe and Orbera, there is no minimum volume requirement if the physician has taken Boston Scientific’s mandated training within the 12 months immediately preceding submission of the registration form.
The results shown may not be inclusive of all physicians who may have experience with these devices for use in these bariatric procedures or products like Overstitch or Orbera devices for use in bariatric procedures in your area.
